“Midtown Neighborhood Association is committed to our motto: Work, Live, Play in Midtown! Deco Communities has helped us fulfill our mission to make Midtown THE destination for urban living. We are thrilled to see their developments are not only bringing residents to Midtown, they are doing it with efficacy in their partnership with MNA, developing our community into the landmark status it deserves.”

— Susan Thompson, Midtown Neighborhood Association President

“Deco Communities defines forward thinking when it comes to real estate. Continually pushing the boundaries of strategy, design and development, Deco has truly become a visionary in building modern communities for the way people want to live today.  There is no more creative, energetic and imaginative team in the industry, and it has been our great honor and pleasure to be part of the team that helps bring these innovative communities to life.”

— Melissa Rein Lively, President – The Brand Consortium PR

Advocacy and

Building communities is Deco’s bottom line, and it’s important to us that our communities support our residents and provide a haven of inclusivity and comfort. Deco is proud to partner with local organizations that encourage these principals.

Deco Communities believes in the positive effects of public art on communities large and small and supports creative expression by commissioning artwork to enhance our developments.

Happy Man & Tempe Bike Man by Andy Brown

In 2012, Deco commissioned local artist Andy Brown to create public street art that would compliment the vibrant colors of our Cabana apartments in Tempe and Phoenix.

Brown painted two murals on street-facing walls of Cabana on McClintock in Tempe, near ASU’s main campus. The pieces, titled “Happy Man” and “Tempe Bike Man,” add a welcomed uniqueness to the otherwise average brick walls of the complex.

Brown also accented the leasing office of former Cabana on Thomas, now the Haver on Thomas and not affiliated with Deco, with a one-of-a-kind design.

Midtown Map by Mario Zucca

Deco commissioned Philadelphia-based artist Mario Zucca to create a piece that embodied the spirit of the Midtown Phoenix neighborhood for our development, Edison Midtown. Mario did a fabulous job of capturing the multitude of entertainment and dining hot spots in the area, many just steps away from Edison’s front door.
